Comfort As a teenager I used a Therm-A-Rest Ridge Rest as my first backpacking sleeping pad... as a scout leader I now use them because they are inexpensive, comfortable, and bomb proof! 18 years later I'm not using that Ridgerest anymore, but it goes on every trip I take... its just strapped to one of my scout's backpacks now.
