Engineered for thermal warmth and superb moisture transfer, the Apache AR is a light insulating layer that's perfect alone on sunny days or layered beneath a waterproof and breathable shell when the skies let loose. It's made with a velour-like Polartec® Thermal Pro® tweed fabric for comfort and moisture management. The gusseted underarm sleeves make this a superb choice for skiing, snowboarding or hiking in cool weather conditions. Weight-saving laminated elbow patches help minimize wear from abrasion on the elbows, but you may want to layer the Apache beneath a shell if you plan on taking extended backpacking trips. Stick energy bars or your car keys in the laminated chest pocket and you're good to go.

excellent feel and versatile This is by far my most comfortable and warm zip. I wear it around the house on cold northern Ohio days and if the weather is just a little chilly out I will wear it outside without a shell. Just Awesome!

Nice~ Nice close fit and excellent fleece to use a layer or a nice option to wear to work as well. Arc'teryx comes through again!
