Run in the middle of the night and often won on ultralight gear, the Elk Mountains Grand Traverse requires both Nordic and alpine skills. Cold Track Pants embody a rare combination of lightweight breathable stretch with a bonded windproof fabric over the front quads for frigid descents. The grid interior breathes and wicks freely, and feels dry and warm against the skin. Triangular gussets on the inner and outer knees and waist allow extra stretch and mobility, while ankle zippers hide a gusset that fits easily over larger boots. An internal brushed-elastic waistband has an adjustable drawcord. Two front zippered pockets.
