perfect I ordered the Osprey in a women's size Medium. I am 5'5", 130 lbs, and a size 4/6. This is the best women's specific bag out there. I also bought it with the Osprey Solo to add 500 cu in, to make the pack 5000 cu in. If you are a woman, buy a women's pack. The shoulders and the hips are designed for us, take advantage of it.

Best Pack I am continually amazed at how comfortable this pack is. Previously I had a North Face Stamina, which was stolen over ½ way through a year long trip about India/SE Asia. I purchased the Arial 75 as a replacement. I tried on more packs than I could count and this is THE ONE. Every time I put it on, either for a 4 day trip into the Rockies or a 2 wk trek around Iceland, it is comfortable, light and versatile. I just start jumping up and down at the end of the day because I am so amazed at how good my back feels. The design fits snuggly along my back, is fairly lightweight and easy to adjust. I would definitely recommend it. Go out of your way to find one and try it on.

Great Backpack This is my third try at finding a backpack that is large enough, fits, and is comfortable to wear. I think finally the third time is a charm! I used it for an overnight backpack to the summit of Mt. San Gorgonio. It held 35lbs very comfortably, including my bear vault (was testing that gear that particular weekend). I knew I had weight in my pack, but it wasn't uncomfortable in the least. The materials and craftsmanship of the pack seem sturdy while still relatively lightweight. I look forward to using the pack on the High Sierra Trail this August. The only drawback of this pack is a lack of pockets/organization, but otherwise it's totally perfect!
