Good Buy Not as warm as feathers but much easier to maintain. Light weight and warm enough for early winter. Thin enough to use a layer.

A comfortable lightweight vest This is the second Redpoint vest I have purchased. The first was a gift and the second was for myself at a good price. The vest is thin,warm and very comfortable under a shell which makes it ideal for camping and winter hiking. As mentioned in another review, the collar design is excellent and helps block the wind. Also the vest packs well in a small stuff sack. Overall a great,well made vest.
