Previous air mattress user Weight has always been a factor but comfort is so more important! The SynMat 9 is excellent in sleeping quality and warm. Previous used an air mattress and had to carry an extra pump that weights more then the entire sleeping pad system, although takes longer to inflate. The ability to make the pad firmer or softer without taking out a pump is well worth the wait. For my needs the SynMat 9 was exactly what I was looking for and more, very pleased...Free Shipping was icing on the cake!

Best sleeping pad out there I have tried many pads/ thermarest self-inflating/ ridgerest foam/ pacific outdoors inflatable and foam and nothing compares. This pad is warm, comfortable, easy to pump (about 1 minute max), small enough to pack easily, and gives a great nights sleep because you don't slip off and your hips don't ever touch the ground while sleeping on your side. A good nights sleep is more important than saving a few ounces. I highly recommend this pad to anyone.

Wonderful camping mat!!! Being a large guy (280+) self inflating and closed cell foam mats were never comfortable and I never got a good night sleep while camping. I was also looking for something with a small pack size and minimum weight for use while bike touring. I took the Exped SynMat9 out for my first overnight bike trip to York PA and was amazed. It packs small enough to fit in my rear pannier with my tent, was fast and easy to inflate and kept me worm and comfortable all night. I highly recommend this mat to anyone looking for a better night sleep!
